Our basement

Our basement is coming along nicely. I can hardly believe it, when we first bought the house with the idea of finishing the basement to what it is now,about half way finished. ("Good job" and a pat on my dear husbands back.)I have taken a few pics for everyone to see, the most important stuff like my craft room (which is is mess because I have 2 classes to get ready for this week)and my hair cutting room/ laundry room. We also have Hanna's room and bathroom as well as a theater room for Keith and a play area for Kyle. I can hardly wait, them we will all have spaces to keep our stuff and upstairs might stay presentable for a day or so.

Are you ready to clean?

I was just at a friends yesterday and was pleased with how clean and tidy her house was with 4 kids. She had defiantly spent some time reorganizing and cleaning out un wanted "junk". When I got home all I could think about is doing the same. I think today is a good day to start cleaning and trying to find some stuff for a garage sale.
I do have one problem though. I am waiting to see if I can qualify to win a trip to Vancouver to see James Blunt in concert and I have to listen to the radio. The only place we have a radio that works is downstairs by the computer. So for awhile I am stuck here I guess. :) There is always my craft room to organize but we all know that leads to other things than cleaning.
I saw my handsome little nephew this weekend. I did not even get a picture. What is wrong with me? He has grown a lot and I sure makes me sad I can't spend more time with him because they grow up so fast. I can't wait till the day he can come and spend the weekend with us.
Well, I best be getting back to "organizing" while I wait to qualify for my tickets of course.

Jobe well done

I think it really helped to make a list of all the things I needed to get done because it worked and most of my goals for the day were accomplished. Way to go! A big pat on the back for me. :) I spent the greater part of the day scrapbooking and thought I would share one of my layout for a circle journal I am doing. I also used the new Stampin Up! paper, which I am very excited about. I have tomorrow off and only one child at home. Yeah! another day of scrapbooking I hope. Kyle loves to glue and tape and cut anything I give him which makes it easy to spend time with him and still get stuff done.

Getting Organized

It amazes me that there is so much to do every morning when I get up. Sometimes I wonder what I did the day before. Well today is no exception and I must get going but here I sit working on this blog. I am addicted! I thought all night what I could put on here that might be inspiring or helpful to someone. I realized I need to find away to get my self inspired. I decided to start by getting organized so I wrote a list and now I am going to work my way down the list till everything is done. Wish me luck!
