Keith's foot update

Just a bit of an update on Keith.

We went to the doctor today and he took all eight pins out of Keith's foot. I have them pictured here and to see the actual size of them I have put one up against a ruler. It is longer than 9cm. Yikes!!! They were taken out using a bit of force and a hand crank drill. Not very pleasant if you ask me.

I am so excited to have this part of it over with. Now we are on to a whole new set of feelings and emotions. The healing process is something neither of us are familiar with so it promises to be interesting. Keith has a long road ahead of himself but I have faith and know with allot of hard work he can be better than before.

Thanks to everyone for their love and support. We really appreciate what everyone has done for us.

Canada Day!

We had a great day! First we were at Geoge Lane park for all the free fun, game, food, tatoos and entertainment. It is wonderful all the stuff a small town has to offer on these holidays. Later that night we went to the lake for fireworks, which again I was surprised how awesome it was. The kids were so wiped they went to bed no problem.
