Mountain Shores

We are finally back from holidays. I say finally because it feels like a life time even if it was only 9 days. Things are so different when you don't have to do the mundane, thoughtless things of the everyday like laundry and house cleaning. How nice it is to have someone clean your bathroom and make your beds every morning and with my sister and mom around I did very little cooking.

We stayed in cabin/motel in a great resort outside of Creston, BC. on Kootenay Lake. Mom and Bonnie came with Holden and her inlaws brought their new trailer for a few days with Bonnie's husband Greg. Mom's friends Ken and Amy stay there for most of the summer and have a spot of their trailer.

Basically I sat either at the pool or the lake and watched the kids swim. Somehow we managed to outlast everyone else who came to the pool.

This is a picture of all the grand children in front of a tree outside of our cabin. Hanna (8yrs), Kyle(3years) and Holden (6 months). They are so precious.

It looks like you had a GREAT time. It is always fun to go on vacation, but sad when you have to come home to reality :)

I can't wait to go back next year!! Mom and I still giggle about Kyle and "the big guy". Good times, good times!
