Yesterday was a long day!!! We left home at 5:30am and he finally had his surgery at 5:00pm. I did not see him again till 9:00pm and he was terrible. He was sick and sleepy and groggy and in a lot of pain. I felt so bad for him. I got home around 11:00pm and then back up to the hospital this morning. I was surprised to see him in good spirits and feeling not to bad. He had his IV out and no in to much pain, they even had him up and out of bed trying to walk with a walker. When I was leaving he was starting to feel a bit hot and itchy, but by the time I got home and took the kids swimming he had called and was not doing well at all. He had to be put back on IV and they had to cut off the bandages due to swelling. I hope things get better through the night.
